EBAY AND ALL DELIVERIES TO/FOR DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THE CONDITION OF EBAY AND PERSONAL GOODS IS BETWEEN THE SELLER AND THE BUYER. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR GOODS ARE WELL PACKAGED. WE DO NOT SUPPLY PACKAGING AND GOODS WILL BE DELIVERED AS COLLECTED. UNPACKAGED, OR INSUFFICIENTLY PACKAGED, GOODS ARE NOT VALID FOR CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES, WHERE THE DAMAGE IS CAUSED AS A RESULT OF THE PACKAGING NOT BEING SUITABLE. e.g. SCUFFING, SCRATCHES, etc. ANY GOODS CONTAINING LIQUIDS, OF ANY KIND, MUST BE PRESENTED AND WRAPPED, IN SUCH A WAY, THAT THE LIQUIDS CAN NOT SPILL OR LEAK IN TRANSIT. IF SPILLAGE OCCURS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES, FOR CLEANING OUR VEHICLES. ENGINES etc, MUST BE DRAINED AND PLUGGED.

COLLECTIONS AND DELIVERIES WILL BE SCHEDULED INTO OUR RUNNING PLAN, ACCORDING TO THE 'HOW IT WORKS' DETAILS, UNLESS AGREED OTHERWISE. WE WILL NOT SCHEDULE ANY COLLECTIONS OR DELIVERIES UNTIL A DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID AND THE BOOKING FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE 'RUNNING DAYS' DEPENDING ON OUR WORKLOADS.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY BOOKINGS, WHERE IT IS DEEMED NOT TO BE FINANCIALLY BENEFICIAL FOR US TO UNDERTAKE ANY JOBS PREVIOUSLY BOOKED. WHEREUPON WE CANCEL ANY JOBS PRIOR TO COLLECTION, WE WILL REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT IN FULL. IF WE CANCEL DUE TO UNKNOWN CIRCUMSTANCES, BECAUSE WE WERE NOT PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED WITH THE FULL OR CORRECT INFORMATION, AND THIS IS DISCOVERED AT THE COLLECTION POINT, YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED, WHETHER WE COLLECT THE JOB OR NOT.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AMMEND QUOTED PRICES, IF THE BUYER OR THE SELLER HAVE FAILED TO NOTIFY US OF DIFFICULT ACCESS AT ANY COLLECTION OR DELIVERY POINT, OR WHERE TIME AND DAY LIMITATIONS HAVE BEEN ADDED AFTER THE QUOTE HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE CUSTOMER. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANY COMPLICATIONS OR CHANGES ARISING FROM ANY OTHER INFORMATION, WHICH, WAS NOT SUPPLIED ON REQUEST OF THE INITIAL QUOTE.

Cancellations by the customer, once booked, will have a £5 admin fee deducted from deposit refund. If however, the job has already been scheduled, the deposit will not be refunded.
If there is a 'no show' at the collection, after an appointment has been agreed, your deposit will be forfeited, and will need to be paid again, before we attempt a 2nd collection.
If there is a 'no show' at the delivery, after an appointment has been agreed, the job will be charged at an extra 50% upon the 2nd delivery.

GLASS, MIRRORED ITEMS, PORCELEIN AND 'BRITTLE' ITEMS etc., ARE NOT INSURED AND WE SUGGEST YOU ENSURE THAT THESE ARE PACKAGED TO ENSURE MAXIMUM PROTECTION.

ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ITEMS ARE DELIVERED AS COLLECTED. CLAIMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR NON-WORKING GOODS ON DELIVERY. WE DO NOT CHECK ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL ITEMS AT COLLECTION POINT AND THEREFORE WE CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TESTED BY THE SELLER AND THE FUNCTIONALITY OF ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ITEMS HAS BEEN AGREED BY THE BUYER AND THE SELLER.

CLAIMS AGAINST OUR INSURANCE ARE PAID AT THE ACTUAL PRICE OR REPLACEMENT PRICE, WHICHEVER IS THE LESSER PRICE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE GOODS REPAIRED INSTEAD OF REPLACEMENT. PROOF OF PURCHASE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL CLAIMS. CLAIMS WILL BE DEALT WITH THROUGH OURSELVES AND NOT DIRECTLY BY YOURSELVES, WITH OUR INSURANCE COMPANY.

ALL GOODS FOR CLAIMS WILL NEED TO BE RETURNED TO OUR DEPOT FOR INSPECTION, AT THE CLAIMANTS EXPENSE.
GOODS IN TRANSIT INSURANCE ONLY COVERS ITEMS DURING LOADING ONTO THE VEHICLE, DURING TRANSIT AND DURING LOADING OFF THE VEHICLE.  YOU SHOULD THEREFORE ENSURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN PLACE, SHOULD AN ACCIDENT OR DAMAGES OCCUR, ONCE THE GOODS ARE IN YOUR POSSESSION. IF WE ASSIST WITH DELIVERY ONTO YOUR PROPERTY, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR ACCIDENTS ARISING THEREON. IN THE EVENT OF INJURIES TO OUR PERSONNELL, WHEN ON OR IN YOUR PROPERTY, WE MAY MAKE A CLAIM FROM YOUR INSURANCE, OR YOURSELVES.

WHERE DAMAGES HAVE NOT BEEN POINTED OUT, AT THE COLLECTION OR DELIVERY POINTS. SIGNING UNCHECKED OR SIMILAR IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE OPTION FOR CLAIMS, AS WE WILL ALLOW TIME FOR YOUR INSPECTION OF THE GOODS, AT THE DELIVERY POINT.

MOTOR VEHICLES MUST BE INSURED BY YOURSELVES, AS ANY MOTOR VEHICLE, SHOULD HAVE A POLICY IN PLACE BY THE OWNER.

IF WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SIGN FOR GOODS ON COLLECTION, WE HAVE SIGNED ONLY AS A COURTESY AND THE CONDITION IN WHICH WE SIGNED FOR THEM, DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE ABOVE CONDITIONS. THE CONDITION OF GOODS IS ENTIRELEY BETWEEN THE SELLER AND THE BUYER.

BY BOOKING OUR SERVICE, IT IS DEEMED THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ACCEPT ALL CONDITIONS PUBLISHED ON THIS WEBSITE AND ANY OTHER ADVERTISING MATERIALS PUBLISHED BY OURSELVES, OR ON OUR BEHALF.

N.B. P.O.D.'s (Proof of delivery notes), are retained by ourselves for 3 calendar months, after which time, they are destroyed. If anyone requires a copy of a P.O.D. they must send an sae to the address on our contacts page, before the 3 months expires for any particular job. We will only provide a copy to the buyer or the seller, and will therefore only post an address which was submitted on the original booking form.
